Sparse Signal Reconstruction from Phase-only Measurements
We demonstrate that the phase of complex linear measurements of signals preserves significant information about the angles between those signals. We provide stable angle embedding guarantees, akin to the restricted isometry property in classical compressive sensing, that characterize how well the angle information is preserved. They also suggest that a number of measurements linear in the spars...
متن کاملNonlinear Back Projection for Tomographic Image Reconstruction
The objective of this paper is to investigate a new non-iterative paradigm for image reconstruction based on the use of nonlinear back projection filters. This method, which we call nonlinear back projection (NBP), attempts to directly model the optimal inverse operator through off-line training. Potential advantages of the NBP method include the ability to better account for effects of limited...
متن کاملPhase-only signal reconstruction
In this paper, we develop a set of conditions under which a sequence is uniquely specified by the phase or samples of the phase of its Fourier transform. These conditions are applicable to mixedphase one-dimensional and multi-dimensional sequences. Under the specified conditions, we also present several algorithms which may be used to reconstruct a sequence from its phase.
متن کاملMaximal Entropy for Reconstruction of Back Projection Images
Maximum entropy methods have proven to be a powerful tool for reconstructing data from incomplete measurements or in the presence of noise. In this note, we apply the method to the reconstruction computed tomography data derived from backprojection over a finite set of angles. In this case, one derives quite simple formulae which may be easily implemented on computer.
متن کاملGeneralized Filtered Back-projection for Digital Breast Tomosynthesis Reconstruction
Filtered back-projection (FBP) has been commonly used as an efficient and robust reconstruction technique in tomographic X-ray imaging during the last decades. For limited angle tomography acquisitions such as digital breast tomosynthesis, however, standard FBP reconstruction algorithms provide poor results and give rise to image artifacts due to the limited angular range and the coarse angular...
